Carson GeeCarson Gee is a computer and network security professional that currently works in the School of Engineering at the University of Kansas. This site is intended as a centralized repository for presenting Carson's technical capabilities, programming projects, research, CV, and create a medium for technical and opinion articles and posts. Essentially this is a portal into Carson's work and hobbies. Carson has recently graduated summa cum laude at the Univeristy of Idaho in Computer Science with a minor in mathematics. At the U of I Carson was a researcher at the Center for Secure and Dependable Systems in both the MILS (Multiple Independent Layers of Security/Safety) where he worked on developing a Bell-LaPadula modeled communication system via XML messages on an embedded virtual machine based operating system (LynxOS). In addition, he also started a honeynet project and received funding from Microsoft in order to use the honeynet for students to utilize in classroom and laboratory situations. At the University of Idaho he was a recipient of the National Science Foundation's Scholarship for Service which payed for his last year in college. For this he was indebted to work for the federal government for a year in order to return the service.
